Video trailer for Strato Artcars print 52 of 60. No War Edition.

Given the gamut of digital tools, it seems natural to produce video trailers of a piece destined for 2D print output. The work then becomes a set of media, each offering a different viewpoint on what is a single point of creation in a series.

The series itself is generated with a custom coded engine that creates images with a live, interactive DJ type approach. Sequences are written and erased at about one frame per second and saved to disk. This group of hundreds or thousands of images is then curated down to the final set of 60 basis images. These images are then built into textured models in the Unreal Engine, walked around in first person 3D and then cinematic camera tracks built. Rendered out into 60 individual video trailer sequences.
